Driving the 17 miles from the highway to Moab is pure pleasure. Althought this ranch is not close to town, it is right where we wanted to be - in the valley that served as a setting for so many western movies. Peace and quiet abound at this facility. The dining was truly world class. Interesting menu and excellent service. A mere half hour from the  hikes in Arches National Park and a bit further from Canyonlands, there is much to see in the area, but we found ourselves motivated to return to our clean and generous room by mid- afternoon each day to enjoy the sight and sound of the Colorado River right outside our room. A great way to unwind after a day of hiking. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet in a beautiful location. Leave your laptop and cell phone at home and enjoy what the Moab area has to offer in comfort.

Fantastic location - having breakfast on the deck of our room overlooking the Colorado river was magical. Room was large and well furnished, bathroom was big as well although fixtures were cheap/not well maintained (leaking taps in all sinks/bath). Hotel service was average (different staff members gave conflicting instructions about inpact of the Moab  Half-Marathan upon check-in from the ranch). Restaurant tried too hard and was overpriced (too many different flavours spoilt otherwise great steaks, and ice cream dessert was full of ice crystals).

This was a relatively nice setting. The location was beautiful. It is located 17 miles from Moab and this commute takes 32 minutes. The rooms were clean and well decorated. They were equipped with a sink and basic kitchen implements. We were disappointed that after paying a rather hefty sum for our room the dining room was unable to seat us at 8:00 pm while the restaurant was relatively empty. We were instead directed to a bar with no wait staff. We eventually left and drove 17 miles to Moab for dinner. In addition, the concierge staff was inexperienced but did offer helpful recommendations after a few minutes of prodding. Overall the entire experience was a little overpriced for the service level but overall I the stay was acceptable.

People looking for the ultimate get away experience yet surrounded with every comfort of a 5 star hotel need to stay at this boutique ranch resort. The views of the sorell (red) rock monoliths are breathtaking. Plan to spend time just watching the Colorado River roll by your room. Comfortable, tons of outdoor activities for any age in a spiritual setting.

We had stayed her before a few years ago before we did a week long float down the Colorado River, as a result when we returned to the area it was the only place that came to mind. Not only was the room and service extremely good, but the location can't be beat. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Moab area
